The Origins of Political Order: From Prehuman Times to the French Revolution by Francis FukuyamaMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Just finished first volume, since the prehistoric times to the French Revolution. Not saying I learned something cardinally new, but it's a decent book with good examples of political development of different nations.
